2008 Women's Diving
Over time diving in the Olympics has entered a new phase. There are several different types of diving techniques. (FINA) the federation International notation association watches and governs the four different techniques. By using a springboard or a platform, divers initiate form and styles of diving and the competition is won or lost by points given from associated judges. Diving is performed by random drawing of competitors names. There are allowances for certain dives in different dive competitions. There are seven judges selected for the panel and the seven judges award points to each diver on form and dive procedures. The diver with the most points then wins the event.
